"O Christmas Tree"

Hello Friends, Viewers, Followers and Visitors.
Happy Veterans' Day to all the veterans: Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines.  We salute you for what some of you did for our country  and for some of you who are still doing for our country.

Many of you may have started already to decorate for the Christmas holiday.   There are so many lights to hang.  There are so many yard ornaments to put up.  If this is a tradition for your property and you have different Christmas scenes to share, I know you are busy getting them together.  It is going to take you from now until Thanksgiving day to get it done.

I remember when my girls were at that age to help decorate.  It would be the week after Thanksgiving or when school closed down for winter break .  We would pull out all the decorations and make our home sparkle with cheer and merriment.

When my youngest daughter finished her last year in college, it was the last time that we really decorated the house. Two Christmas door wreaths is about as much of a decoration that you will see at our house. We go to see their decorations now:  Florida and North Carolina.

The Christmas tree was a joy to decorate.  I would buy the ornaments (at the end of the season) and change the color for the next year ( I've never been one that liked to see the same thing over and over).  Before I stopped decorating the tree, my youngest daughter had started getting collectible ornaments to put on it.  These were the ones she would hang when she came home from college.  She still does that today at her own home and for her little girl.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
Thou bidst us true and faithful be,
 And trust in God unchangingly.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee! !"

P.S.  I received good news and forgot to share it with you:
I had a card that was "featured"  on The Outlawz page for last Thursday challenge.
I had a card that was "favorite" on Splitcoast Wednesday card sketch last week.
I was a site winner on The Outlawz for October.
God is still in the blessing business and I LOVE him for keeping me in HIS loving arms.
