"Getting Through The Storm"

Hello All!

Are you still working on  being persistent?   Very good... then, let's move on to today's question.  It's storming and the flood waters are rising just as it is in Houston or just as they were in New Orleans years ago.  Maybe it was last month when we had rain, hard rain for several days in a row.  The storm was really raging and the waters were too high...how will you or how did you get through the storm?

Did you trust your vehicle to carry you?  Many people tried that method in Houston and found themselves and their vehicle drowning in the water.   Are you holding on to a tree or tree limb?  Be very careful because your weight can pull the limb down or the wind will blow the tree away.

What  other way can we get through the storm?   You're thinking, maybe someone will come by on a boat or fly over you with a helicopter to rescue you.  They could if you weren't stuck  in a remote area where no one can find you
.
Storms can come in the form of water, wind  as well as trials and tribulations in your life. Are you anchored in the ONE and only ONE who can carry you through the storm?  You can't put your trust in yourself to make it through.  You can't put yourself in others, they may leave you or forsake you. Put your trust in God.

I know of someone who is going through a "rough" time in their life right now.  The card I made today is to give them some encouragement:
