"Blessed"

Good Monday, October 8, 2018
For those of you who have a day off due to Columbus Day, I hope you make the most of it.
Shop, sleep, relax, craft and do all those things that will make you happy.  It is a beautiful time to have a day or I should say three days to enjoy yourself.
My inspiration for the title came from one of the ladies at church on Sunday.  She always talks to me about how "blessed" she is to still be here on this side.  You have to understand as she does, that she almost didn't make it.  Day by day and week by week, her doctor in our area was not doing anything to prolong her life.  He had recommended a stay in the local Nursing home in which she was slowly getting closer to dying.  Her daughter became frustrated and looked for medical help in another area. She ended up having surgery on her heart and medicine was provided for other areas in her body that had started to not work properly.  Every Sunday that she gets a chance, she reminds all of us that are listening of how "blessed" she is to still be alive.  She is eighty-six and very active... putting some of the younger people to shame (including me).
My question to you...how did you wake up this morning?
Take a look at what I made using the inspiration from a church member:
