Fancy Fold Card #4... Side Step

Hello to Thursday and to my friends, followers, viewers and visitors.
All week long I have presented some form of "fancy fold" card for your viewing and/or for your instructions on how to make one.  I will repeat... I'm doing what any of you will do and that is to go to Google, Pinterest or You Tube to find the information for yourself.
I cannot give myself credit for the fancy fold cards you have seen on this site.  The only credit I will accept, is how I have used my imagination to dress the base card once it is cut and folded.

Today's fancy fold is a "side step" card.  I have chosen to have the step on the right hand side.  It could have been on the left.  Here is some information to help you:
be merry

Supplies:
dark blue Recollection cardstock for the base and white Recollection cardstock for the die cut snowflakes and the snow mounds.   The panel images and the bears came from Martha Stewart Christmas mat pad.  A little black soot distress ink was used around the edges.

Another step card is the center step card:

Together...Let your life lightly dance on the edges of time like dew on the tip of a leaf.
The base can be made by doing the following:
* cut a piece of cardstock (heavy) 7" by 10"
* place the 10" vertically on your paper trimmer and place the left edge on the 4 3/4 line with the blade at the 1" mark on the ruler.  Press down and cut down to the 8 1/2" mark on the ruler of your trimmer.
*slide the left side of the paper to the right and position the left side on the 2 1/4" mark, and as the first time, with the blade at the 1" mark on the blade ruler, press down and cut down to the 8 1/2" mark on the ruler.
*now place the piece on your score pad with the 10" horizontally across the top and score between the cut lines at 1" score.  (Score only between the cut lines.
*score only between the cuts at 1", 2", and 3 1/2".   At 5" score right through from the top down through to the bottom end.  Then back to scoring only between the cut lines at 7 1/2" and 8 1/2"
* Fold on the score lines...1" mountain, 2" valley, 3 1/2" mountain, at 5" the sides are mountain, but middle section is a valley, and 7 1/2 mountain.   Do Not Fold the 8 1/2" score line.  That is there just for a little give.
* When all are folded, the card should be 7" by 5".
