Christmas In Two Colors: What A Challenge

Hello Friends, Followers, Viewers and Visitors!
Today, I'm finding you full of joy, thanks and excitement because Thursday is Thanksgiving Day. Forget that today is Monday and you have three more days. I know the excitement is building.  You went shopping this weekend to get all those "fix in" for a stuff fill day and then....after Thanksgiving shopping and shopping again on Friday for the Black Friday sales. You just cannot contain yourself.

Since joining the Outlawz blog, I have tried to keep up with the challenges they offer each week.  The one for this week was a little challenging for me.  To stick with two colors was a little hard. I promised someone a box of cards and she specifically was interested in some for Christmas at this present time.  So keeping her in mind and entering challenges at the same time, I want you to see what I made:
Here is a list of the supplies I used for both cards

  • cardstock: Neenah Bright white for the base (4 1/4 by 5 1/2)z and for the die cuts; grey foil; red foil
  • die: Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 20 & Elegant Ovals for the grey & white card; Spellbinders Nestabilities Floral Ovals and Elegant Ovals for the red & white card; Spellbinders Poinsettia (red & white) Darice snowflake (white & grey); Sizzix Tim Holtz Mixed Media (red & white); Darice holly for both; Sizzix Tim Holtz Holiday Words for grey & white
  • dove images from Google
  • Recollection faux gems
The grey and white card will be entered in the

Monday Greetings Challenge Christmas in 2 Colours GCC112315

and over at www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com.http://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com

The red and white card will be entered in the same challenge if the grey and white one is not accepted.  Monday Greetings Challenge Christmas in 2 Colours GCC112315

Have peace and joy in your day today.  You may not be challenged with two colors but something may come along and challenge you in another way.

Sending you a hug and LOVE,
Lois
