My day has been going well. I'm hoping it will end as it started. I have no major plans for today. I'm taking one step at a time doing exactly what I want to do for the moment.
I've been reminiscing about this past weekend. It was such a good time with our granddaughter.
Reminiscing...hum...thinking back to some very "good times". Have you tried this lately? Why not do it now... Close your eyes and just think about a good time.. or some good times you have had. If you can, think about your high school days. What about those "good times" you had on a college campus if you stayed on one?
Okay, many of you may be married. Think about that first "date night". It was good wasn't it? Maybe it wasn't. It could have taken you at least three date nights before you can consider it "good times".
Reminiscing reminds you of the things that were good or bad. Reminiscing should be enjoyable. As you take this stroll down memory lane, make sure you focus on the positive experiences. Don't use this time to be negative, criticize or use put-down humor.. The positive memories provide hope as you navigate the rough spots and anticipate future good times . This is why Philippians 4:8 says, "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things."
The card for today was made using Bazzill black and yellow cardstock for the base and mats. Pattern paper was selected from Recollection Bright and Basic as well as DCWV The Citrus Matstack. I used a Hero Arts globe stamp for the image behind the sentiment. The sentiment was stamped on black cardstock using Close to my Heart D1574 Take Note Cricut Bundle. An easy card to make once your stamping is done.
