Hello beautiful people.
Welcome to the last day of February. It is a Thursday and one more work day before the weekend.
I've received several posts requesting that you abstain from buying any crafting material on the following days: February 29, 30 and 31. It will be truly amazing to keep some extra pennies in your purse. Please follow those instructions. Well, I will keep calm and not shop on those days. I've never done it in the past anyway.(lol)
I admire a crafting friend who can take different patterns of papers and combine them to make a card front image. Today, my inspiration comes from her (Treva)...it's all about the paper.
Instead of using new papers from a pad, I went through my stash of cardstock DP to find papers that would (in my opinion) blend well together. When I finish putting different combinations together, I had at least five piles to make five different cards. I made this one for your view today. The others will come later.

This is the card I made this morning. I don't know the names of any of these papers or what pad they came out of. When I have a pad with very few papers left, I remove them and place them in my paper file. I always forget to label them. I found a script DP; a polka dot DP; a plaid DP and a floral DP. They are all cardstock and not the thin paper. To help with matching, I took out some ribbon, a doily, and a lace flower. That was the card with nothing else until I cut out some leaves from an Alina Cutle die and some butterflies from a Mauvy punch...added some faux pearls and found a sentiment from a Planner sheet. I must mention that the plaid and floral sheet were adhered together so I could turn down the corner.
I enjoyed doing this card and hope you like the look and design.
Once again, thanks for the comments, the view and the support. Letting you know that I appreciate your love.
Sending you a hug and love,
Lois
