Yes, I'm still around. I have been very busy for the last two days and didn't get an opportunity to craft.
I missed the first day of May with you but look at it this way...there are twenty-nine more days for us to be together during this month.
Today is the National Day of Prayer . The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. We really need this everyday and this is just my opinion.
It is also World Password Day... a celebration to promote better password habits. Passwords are critical gatekeepers to our digital identities, allowing us to access online shopping, dating, banking, social media, private work and life communications.
Are you into "sweets", then ...National Truffle Day is observed annually on May 2nd. On this day, the deliciously sweet chocolate truffle gets the spotlight.
Here is one more...National Life Insurance Day is observed annually on May 2nd. This day marks the anniversary of the first day life insurance became available in the United States. Life insurance can do some pretty amazing things for people. It can buy loved ones time to grieve. It can pay off debts and loans, providing surviving family members with the chance to move on with a clean slate. It can keep families in their homes and pre-fund a child’s college education. It can keep a family business in the family. It can provide a stream of income for a family to live on for a period of time. I'm amazed at how many people do not purchase life insurance and when they become deceased, it leaves the family in financial distress. Most people are opting to start a "GoFundMe" page to collect money to take care burial expenses.
I'm sharing a decoupage image on my card today. The sentiment reads, "With Love. With Love."
It can be use for almost any occasion...birthday, Mother's Day, Thinking of You, Celebrate, etc.

...and agree re preparing for death. In physical sense, ie for your funeral, and expenses, mine is sorted right down to hymns and what I want shared.
However we also need to prepare for the life to come as well as this life.. and the only time we can prepare for it is while we are alive.
As Jesus said, in respect to this “be you also ready, for in such an hour as you think not the Son of Man comes “..
