"Encouragement Day #2"

Happy Tuesday to all.
One more day and we will be in the month of August.  The month to get those last vacation days in before school starts all over again.  My granddaughter is having a grand time this summer going here, staying there, and going again.  She is headed to Atlanta, Georgia tomorrow for her dad's family reunion.   Maybe she'll get to swim in the ocean if not in the pool at the hotel.
Encouragement...Did you offer some on yesterday?  Have you had some this morning?  If we are children of God, then we are equipped to encourage others.
Encouragement is something that belongs to you as a Christian.  You do not have to live in a world of hurt and doubt.  You don't have to live alone. You don't have to weep in solitude.  You have the body of Christ to lift you up.  You have the Word of God to teach you.  You have the Holy Spirit indwelling in you who warms your soul.
You have the God of encouragement waiting to show you His mercy and love.
But you need to trust. You need to remember the Lord's blessing.  You need to depend on Him.   You need to keep your eyes on Jesus and Him alone.
Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest," (Matthew 11:28).

I'm still working with Prima's Apricot Honey paper pad.  I used two of the 6 x 6 sheets along with a Paperandmore deep burgundy cardstock.  I also included a piece of lace down the left hand side.  I cut out the oval from Tonic Studio's kit #22.  I added Martha Stewart's dogwood flowers around the oval.  On the right hand side, I placed a Paper Studio woman sticker.  A the top of the card the embellishment is three faux gems from Jot.

No matter what you think of yourself, you are still created by God.  “God loves you unconditionally, as you are and not as you should be, because nobody is as they should be.”
The very best gift we can give to the Lord is the gift of ourselves. This is the gift that the Lord appreciates most of all.

Thanks for viewing.  Thanks for the comments.  Thanks for sharing this with others.

Sending you a hug and love,
Lois
