Hello friends, visitors, family, followers and viewers.
First, welcome to Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Second, happy St Patrick's Day if you're celebrating. Due to this COVID-19, we are told to limit ourselves to large crowds and to avoid bars and restaurants. So, who is venturing out to have a drink and encounter the coronavirus? Be safe people!
I really thought on Saturday that it couldn't be this bad...but three days later, my thoughts have changed. I'm not in fear, but seeing people in panic is unbelievable. I had seen on the news how people were buying up bathroom tissues , facial tissues, bleach, hand sanitizer, and leaving shelves empty in the grocery stores... I thought out loud to my daughters and people at church on Sunday...what's with the stock piling of bath tissues? Some people made jokes about the bathroom tissues (if they need that much tissue then something else must be wrong with them and it is not the fear of the coronavirus).
Can it get much worse? Yes, when your job lay you off due to the clientele they deal with. No job, no pay and the bills are piling up unpaid. People are being encourage to stay at home and many shopping areas are limiting their time being open...it is getting worse especially if you get paid hourly wages. It's a good thing to keep a distance but how long can you go without getting a paycheck?
I made a card for encouragement. To go a little further than spiritual encouragement, I know something else will have to happen when I may be ask for a monetary donation to help out either with grocery or with paying a bill. Is the government going to keep electricity and other essentials going on if people can't make payments due to being laid off? My question again...it can't get much worse or can it?
Thanks for viewing. Please come again.
Sending you a hug and love,
Lois

Such a beautiful encouragement card. We have to continue to pray for each other.
Evelyn, it seems it may get worse before it gets better; so thankful for God*s grace and mercy. Thank you for sharing your encouraging card and words.
