Happy Friday, March 12, 2021 everyone. Working people will say "Fri- yay". I remember the feeling of getting to this day in the week. We had two days of rest, relaxation and get your mind off of the job during the weekend. Those three day weekends were really the best...those giving to us on the calendar and those we took on our on. Now, being retired every day is a weekend day or I should say most of my days are that way. I still have things to accomplish around my living space. Cleaning and organizing is always a priority.
Are you ready to fast/spring forward starting this weekend? Clocks go up on Saturday night. Even though the clocks change by only an hour during Daylight Savings Time, the effects can be noticeable! This is especially true in the spring, when people lose an hour of the day and that hour is often subtracted from time spent sleeping. While the majority of people will adjust by that Wednesday, some unlucky ones will end up suffering for an entire week. It’s as if you end up with a mild case of jet lag. Your body’s internal clock (or circadian rhythm) may be thrown off course, which can affect how much sleep-inducing melatonin is released and when. Within a few days, you should adjust to the new time schedule naturally as your circadian rhythm catches up to your new reality. How time changes actually affect you depends on your own personal health, sleep habits, and lifestyle.
What you've missed since the last posting:
This is my card for today (Friday). We are still in the Lent Season and my thoughts are centered on what the Lord has done, is doing and will do in my life. I obtain the die from Sizzix called "brushstroke". I didn't use all of the parts on this card. Another Sizzix die (crochet) was used to balance out the top part of the card. An old embossing folder from Anna Griffin (Cricut cuttlebug) was used as a card background. You will see this one shared at https://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.comThis one was made on Thursday, March 11, 2021. If you're following me on Instagram, you've already seen this one. Trying to me clean and simple with this one. Just another use of Sizzix dies (brick wall and flowers).
