Hello friends, followers, visitors and viewers.
My, my, my.....this year's time change is really taking an effect on my body. I know by giving this spring forward a few days, my body will eventually react differently. I mention to my daughter on yesterday that last year when we fast forward on the clock, I didn't have anything to do on that Sunday or Monday, therefore my body didn't feel the way it is feeling now. I'm S L O W. I can't seem to get myself together and we are on day 3 of the spring forward on the clock. I'm still on the slow time and so is my body. How are you all feeling? Are your feet and body "springing'? Is the time change better or worse? Should we vote to not change it at all? Think about it...
Today, there are three cards to share with you. A birthday card, a coloring on acetate card and a Tim Holtz supplies card. Take a look:
I'm trying to finish the Hunkydory decoupage kit from last year. So I put together this card for someone's birthday. I already have a Niece who is interested in this one. She will probably get it...not for herself but for her to give to someone else. She appears to enjoy this kit more than anyone else. She knits and donates her shawls to people in the Nursing homes in her area. I've donated cards to her so that she can give a card along with her shawls to the patients.
I watched a video Jennifer McGuire did on Youtube. She used a tulip die along with some acetate to color. I didn't have the die she used so I used one in my bin. I placed acetate behind the cut out and colored it with some markers. I used another piece of paper along with Distress oxides inks for the background. I placed a bible scripture (Romans 15:13) on this card because it will eventually be use for my bible journaling. May the God of Hope fill you with all Joy & Peace as you trust in HIM.
It's approaching spring. I can tell with the flowers popping out of the soil, the robins filling up the yard and the trees blooming and before I forget my allergies acting out of place. I thought I would make a barrel full of flowers. I didn't color them because I wanted them to pull out the background papers I was using. Except for the flowers that came from Little Birdie, everything else is from Ranger (Tim Holtz).
This card will be an entry for https://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com
