Valentine's Day Card"

Hello everyone on this Monday.
Did you survive the weekend?  Did you do something fantastic that we would love to hear about?
How many of you watched The Golden Globes on TV last night?  What are your thoughts about the support given to women as well as men?  Did your favorite win?
When you look at yourself within and without, where do you shine the brightest, where is your beauty?  Is it your head, your chest, your arms, your legs, your smile, your admiration, your generosity, your tenacity, etc.?  How about your heart?  " No beauty shines brighter than that of a GOOD HEART"!  (I don't know who quoted this saying but I love it).  I liked it so much that I've made a card using it today.  It is another Valentine's Day card and this quote goes with a lot of people that I know:

This card will be entered in the challenge at http://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com

The focal or top layer is a piece of white pearlescent paper from PaperandMore.com.  I used it as a base to distress another piece of paper, so this was deliberately done to achieve this effect. I used Nellie's Snellen heart frame to cut out the heart.  The little bits that fell out were saved to use as embellishments around the card.  I pulled out a piece of Offray white ribbon and a piece of Christmas house white ribbon with a silver design.  These two ribbons were adhered together and wrapped around the cardstock.  The sentiment came from Google search of "love quotes".

Enabler's List:
cardstock: Neenah white; Recollections black; PaperandMore white pearlescent; patterned paper from ODBD Christmas Collection 2017; Craft Smith Holiday Foil Solids
die: Nellie's multi heart frame's die;
inks: Distress Oxide #1
embellishments; white Offray ribbon; white & silver Christmas House ribbon;
sentiment from Google search on love quotes.

Is it what's on the inside  that counts or is it the other way around...it's what's on the outside that counts?

I'd rather see your beauty come forward from within ...caring, loving, kindness, being gracious are some of those things you do that makes you beautiful.  It is not your make-up or your slim body or the expensive clothes you wear.  Your GOOD  HEART makes you beautiful.

Thanks for viewing with me today.
Comments are always welcome.
Please come again.

Sending you a hug and LOVE,
Lois
