"Let Us Pray"

Hello friends, followers, visitors and viewers.
It is Thursday, October 11, 2018.  Most schools announced closing on yesterday and those remaining announced closing as of 12 noon today.  Is the weather bad...no, it is the calm before the storm.  If we get anything from Hurricane Michael, it will be wind, rain and tornadoes warnings.  Still, we are making preparations for the worse that could or can happen.
My blog posting title for today..."Pray without Ceasing".
Today is a storm consisting of elements of nature.  We also have storms of life in which we should also prepare ourselves for.  There may be trials and sufferings we may endure.  How do we prepare for those types of storms?  We do so by praying among other things.  Of course, knowing and loving God has to come first otherwise he may not listen to your praying.  Add to this , reading His words and meditating on it asking for help from the Holy Spirit.
Praying... We need to develop an active prayer life.  During the calm seasons of life, we need to grow in prayer and learn to turn to God for all things.  The more we trust and rely on  God in prayer, the more we will utilize prayer during the trials of  our life.  In a crisis, we tend to do things by instinct.  Prayer should be instinctual, like breathing.  Hence, the sentiment on my card reads..."Pray without Ceasing".
