Good day to all the beautiful people on this Wednesday, February 27, 2019.
Most of you who are working will not hear the testimony that is going on in Washington DC with Michael Cohen and the House Oversight Committee. I'm at home and I don't want to watch or listen to the report either. The evening news will give a summary of what was said from both sides. Will it be more lies from Cohen or will he tell the truth about his former boss? We will have to wait and learn. In my opinion and I am entitled to it, the political arena has become so nauseous ( disgusting; loathsome). Let's move on to something more pleasing:
It is so good to share with you and today I'm sharing a "makeover" card. Let me explain! I was looking through some cards in my files that were too big for the envelopes I had (envelopes will be ordered from a company very soon). I found one that could be used for a Mother's Day card since I'm making some for a client down in Florida (she works with my daughter). The package of envelopes I have in my possession will accept a card that measures 5 x 7. I cut some cardstock and DP in another color to make a card similar to the first one. Here, let me show you both cards.
The card on the left is the old card from my file. It measures 6 x 6 and at the present time I do not have envelopes for this size of cards. I have an envelope maker but have not taken the time to make one.
Enabler's List:
cardstock: Neenah white; solid pink is from Bazzill; dark brown from PaperandMore; light brown from Walmart
Pattern paper: purchased from Michaels
ribbon: Offray cream Zoey lace trim
stamp: clear stamp from Michaels (Recollections)
dies: Spellbinders foliage and Tattered Lace "with love"
embellishment: Recollections flowers and spray
The card on the right is the new card I made today. It measures 5 x 7.
Enabler's List:
cardstock: Neenah white; Recollections light and dark blue; DP from Michaels
ribbon: Offray cream Zoey lace trim
dies: Tattered Lace Fresco Floral Carnation 3D Decoupage; Tattered Lace "with love" and bear
If the envelopes I ordered comes before the end of March, then I will include both cards in the package for my client.
Thanks so much for your viewing, your comments, and for your support.
Sending you a hug and love,
Lois

Your cards are cute cute cute!!!
Yes I've a whole drawer of envelopes of various sizes collected over years and from friends family and mostly can find what I need there. If not takes really only 5 mins to make envelope. Just fold a piece of copy paper around centre of card and do the back overlaps and cuts to size... and tape. Round by hand pointy corners.
Yes I was given an envelope makee, but I've never ever used it abd I've made lots of envelopes from young years we used to do it... maybe living in country we has to learn to adapt.
Like the bears and flowers two lovely cards, Lois. Beautiful cards.
