Hello to all on this Wednesday, October 9, 2019.
We've made it to the middle of the week with the weekend on the horizon. I'll be taking it easy this weekend. I was planning on going to see "Sunshine" but she is going to see Aladdin. It will be another time in the future for the two of us.
How many of you really, really like your Pastor/Clergy? How many of you really, really appreciate your Pastor/Clergy?
During the month of October, we are emphasizing "Breast Cancer Awareness" and all other cancers when we join in the march, run, walk, and other activities planned for cancer awareness to support or donate money for this cause.
October is also the month for appreciating the Pastor/Clergy of your local church or someone who shares the word of God with you. Celebrated annually on the second Sunday in October falls a nonofficial holiday called Pastor Appreciation Day. Sometimes called Clergy Appreciation Day, this holiday occurs during Pastor Appreciation Month and celebrates the contributions of priests, pastors, reverends and ministers in the U.S.
Will you show appreciation to someone that you feel is not doing a good job in their called capacity?
Our local church just elected a new person to be the Pastor of our congregation. We are learning things about him as he is learning things about us. His installation service is next month and we're still praying for our Christian family as we all grow, learn and transform together.
I used Google to find items for a Pastor's Appreciation Card ( I believe women are also called by God to deliver HIS word...I could not discriminate). I also made a card with a tag.

Let's stay in touch and support one another. Comments are welcome
Sending you a hug and love,
Lois
