Hello to Tuesday, October 22, 2019.
A good Fall day on the outside. A better summer feeling inside my warm house (lol).
What's Up Crafters? What are you making today... Fall/Autumn, Thanksgiving, Christmas or Valentine's Day cards or projects?
After working on the two cards for your view today, I'll start on my granddaughter's mini album.
She was so excited about the mini, mini album we made back in July. The one I'm going to make for her is a medium size one. She is involved in so many activities and love to have her picture taken if she is not doing a selfie. She is making her own videos but her parents will not let her post to Youtube.
What's on the National Day Calendar that you would be interested in?
NATIONAL MAKE A DOG’S DAY
National Make A Dog’s Day on October 22nd provides an opportunity to give all dogs the best day of their lives. The day not only encourages visits to shelters, but it is also a reminder to animal lovers everywhere to adopt instead of shop for a new pet.
NATIONAL NUT DAY
National Nut Day is observed annually on October 22. This day is NOT about the neighbor that lives down the street or the crazy co-worker. It is a food holiday celebrating a healthy and nutritious snack. Nuts are a highly prized food and energy source and are a primary source of nutrients for both humans and wildlife. Many of them are used in cooking, eaten raw, sprouted, or roasted as a snack food and pressed for oil that is used in cookery and cosmetics.
NATIONAL COLOR DAY
National Color Day focuses on the effect color has on each of us. The observance takes place each year on October 22. Color is powerful. It can affect a mood, draw attention, even cause alarm.
It is hard to imagine the world without color. Without color, we would nearly be blind. Doctors check for health through the color of a patient’s skin. On a late, crisp autumn morning, sparkling frost and leaves changing from green to vermillion signal a change of seasons. A flush of color in the cheeks of a friend sends a cue of her embarrassment. The street light turns from green to yellow to red. In the Grand Canyon, layers of sediment range in color from black to pale ash. All these signs alert us to change through color.
Now, my card shares for today:
Birthdays in November are just as prominent for my family and friends just like they were for September. I will be celebrating a birthday during the month of November along with many , many other family, friends and church members.
I went back to the Hunkydory cardstock and images to complete this card. I also added butterflies from K & Company.
Getting those cards ready to give away for Christmas. Here is one that is made with a Tim Holtz crochet die cut at the top and Aliexpress circle die cuts in the middle. A Jolee's Boutique bird has landed on the sentiment which also comes from that Boutique.
This one will be shared over at:

Have an enjoyable day. Craft pretty, beautiful projects and include some coloring if you can. Take care of your pet dog. He or she may enjoy a walk around the block or just frolicking in the park while you are munching on a handful of crunchy nuts. Watch out for your teeth...don't break any while chewing.
Sending you a hug and love,
Lois
