"Preparation"

Hello, hello to all my family, friends, viewers and supporters.
It has been a long time since I connected with you (December 18, 2019).  It is now the 6th day of the New Year, 2020.  How are you?
Welcome once again to this little blog post.  Welcome to all the newcomers that join since I last posted.  It is good to have you here.  I hope something seen or written will give you some inspiration.
Today's word for thought:  PREPARATION
The meaning...

  • the action or process of making something ready for use or service or of getting ready for some occasion, test, or duty
  • a state of being prepared
  • a preparatory act or measure
  • something that is prepared
For those of us that don't make resolutions...what are you preparing for at this present time?
Are you preparing for snow?
Are you preparing for retirement?
Are you preparing for a trip?
Are you preparing to meet God?

Since December 18th...we were in preparation to travel to Florida by car.  Knowing that we were going to stay at least a week, we prepared clothing and medication for that length of time.  Once our trip came to a close, we prepared to travel back home.
On New Year's Eve, we prepared for the coming of 2020 in prayer.  On Sunday, we prepared to hear a message from our Pastor for the 1st Sunday in the year.  He even encouraged us to prepare ourselves to "get up and do something to help transform our world, our community and our society".

Every decision and event needs preparation.  Even creating a card or other crafting project requires preparation.  I know you prepare so keep up the good work.

Here are my shares for today.  I've used Neenah white cardstock; Recollections black cardstock; and the Design Paper came from Stamperia "Blue Land" for both cards.  Spellbinders Labels Twenty and Spellbinders Heart dies were used.  Embellishments came from Jen Hadfield Simple Life and Along the Way chipboard pieces.  Clear faux gems were used on both cards.
