Hello beautiful family, friends, followers and viewers.
Hump day...Wednesday, February 5, 2020.
Did you fall in love to love that thing or person always?
I've loved some "things". Yes, "things". When I found some other "things" that I thought were better, the first "things" were replaced with the current "things". Does this make sense to you? Let me give you an example. I had this love for sweaters, the button up kind. I would buy a sweater to wear with a dress or skirt and blouse everytime I went shopping for clothes. Mainly because I liked the layered look and secondly, because I've always been a person who stayed cold (anemic). I've given so many sweaters away because my love for them didn't last forever. It was not a "I'll love you always" thing. I had a love for Volkswagens (the beetle) for a long, long time. When I see one now at my present age...they are just cute...my love for them is lost.
Now, I really love the LORD. My love for HIM is an "always" love. He first loved me and I believe HIS word and promises for me and my life.
Today, I made two cards. One in which I encourage you to fall in love with as many things as possible. The second one is for a significant other..."Love You Always":
Stamperia makes some beautiful paper and I love creating with this brand.
This card was made with a piece of Stamperia paper in the background. 49 & Market ephemera was used to create a scene. I had my planner sticker sheets close by so I used one for a sentiment.
This card will also be found on https://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com.
See it there or on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wychelois/
This card was made using sketch SC787 from Splitcoaststampers.
Neenah white cardstock; Recollections black; PaperandMore gold pearlescent; Hunkydory pattern and Recollections purple was used. A Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations embossing folder was used on the black cardstock and then colored with Sunshilor metallic color pens. Three Kaisercraft wooden heart circles were used to finish out the sketch.
Fall in love with as many things as possible. Don't forget..."things" don't last only the love for Christ will. Love as Christ loved.
Thanks for your time and support. Please visit again.
Sending you a hug and love,
Lois

Both cards are beautiful! Stamperia papers are really nice for collages and mixed media products!. We all go through stages of infatuation or fanaticism, that we call love. It is one of the ways we learn how to distinguish between a "crush" and real love.
The love of G-d is on a totally different level and can only really be experienced by those who give themselves over in prayer, fasting, and faith. Once you love Him and He allows you to experience Him (like Moses in the cleft of the rock) there is no turning back. My love for G-d is absolute. I don't have to think about it, I generally don't talk about it because I just know that He is my greatest love.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment!
Hugz,
Chana Malkah
