"What Constitutes A Good Day?"

Hello to all the beautiful people on this Tuesday, February 18, 2020.
How was your Monday?  Most people enjoyed a day off from work and or school.  Some that I spoke with said that they had looked forward to being off and having a three day weekend.  Some got on a plane and traveled far away (Israel) from the United States to enjoy a three day hiatus.
I stayed in the community and enjoyed quiet time.  I did not craft.  I looked at all my supplies and just enjoyed a relaxing time to read and reflect.
Was it a "good day"?  Well this is the question for you to ponder..."what constitutes a good day?"
Reading this quote really puts a good day in your own perspective.   Having or enjoying a good day is up to you.  No one else is responsible for you having a good or bad day.
One could start early in the morning with prayer.  Your next thing will be to take care of yourself.  Maybe meditating, excising or doing something that will relax your mind, body and soul.  Lastly, connect with others, particularly with people who have positive influence.

Here is a card to reflect my blog posting and this will be shared with a real person:

"When Stamperia Paper Meets An Aliexpress Die"

Good Tuesday, February 4, 2020 to all my family, friends, followers and viewers.
The weekend has come and gone...check.
The groundhog could not find its shadow and we are in for an early spring...check.
The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl 2020...check.
There are ten more days before Valentine's Day...check.
I made a card with hearts and the word "love".  Is it only for Valentine's Day or could it be used for any other occasion?  We don't wait for February 14th to love someone.  It is done all year long.  So this card I'm presenting to you today can be used in various occasions to let someone know that you love them.
I'm also sharing a card I made and shared on Instagram yesterday.  The title is "Do What Makes Your Soul Shine".
When Stamperia paper meets an  Aliexpress die...the results are stunning.  This paper already had a heart, feather, lace and dots drawn on a music sheet.  I used an Aliexpress heart die along with 49th and Market ephemera (flower) and stickers to enhance the look.  At the bottom of the paper, I put white blizzard Nuvo drops on the top of the dots as well as inside the flowers for a little glitter and shine.
If you frequent the wordartwednesday blog, you will also find this card.  I will enter it over there for some other views.

This card was made on 2-3-2020.  Since I was still gathering paper to donate to Goodwill, I paused to use three pieces to make this card while adding ephemera from 49 & Market. The sentiment is a chipboard sticker from Prima Marketing "Apricot Honey".

Thanks for viewing with me today.  Continue to view, share and support this blog.

Sending you a hug and love,

"Dreams Do Happen"

Hello friends, followers, visitors and viewers.
Welcome to Thursday, March 28, 2019.  Only three more days and counting until April Fool's Day.
My thoughts today are on my brother...may he RIP.  Last year this time,  he was anticipating his birthday on March 31st.  He did get to celebrate it but on May 23 he transition from labor to reward as we Christian often say.  I would have been making or had made a birthday card for him, but not this year.  Instead, I focused on some happier cards to get my mind off of him and on to something else.   It is spring (we already know this) and I signed up to do a secret tag challenge on another website.  Along with making just one tag...I made two and since I had a large stack of paper out...I made a card also.  I'm posting all three because I may not get a chance to do any crafting tomorrow:

Enabler's List:
Cardstock: Neenah white; PaperandMore pink; Recollection DP; Stamperia Wonderland DP;
embellishments: K & Company butterfly stickers; TH Big Chat words; Nuvo white blizzard glitter drops
die: AliExpress scallop circle

Enabler's List:
Chipboard cut to 5 x 7
Cardstock: 49&Market Vintage Remnants; 49&Market Cottage Life
dies: AliExpress dress form, AliExpress doily, and AliExpress bows
embellishments: K & Company butterfly; Prima flowers; Nuvo Rose Water jewel drops; lace bow

Enabler's List:
Chipboard
Cardstock: DCWV The Butterfly Garden Stack; Stamperia Wonderland; Recollections Boho; Yupo paper
ink: alcohol pink and purple inks
die: Cherry Lynn fancy pot;  Spellbinders cherry blossom: AliExpress dragonfly
embellishments: Recollection flowers; K & Company bird; TH paper dolls; TH frame; lace corners; Nuvo white blizzard glitter drops

You can see that I've been busy yesterday and this morning.  I didn't want to wait until the last minute to make the tag for the challenge.  Honestly, I made two because I didn't know whether the first one I made looked "spring-y" enough.  Do you think the one with the dress form looks like spring or the one with the dragonfly?  You may be thinking neither.  It is okay if you think so.  I have time to get another one done.

Thanks for your viewing, commenting, encouragement and support.  I'm loving it.

Sending you a hug and love,
Lois
