"Bible Journaling Card"

Hello to all the beautiful people on this Wednesday, May 8, 2019.  It has been an enjoyable fast week so far.  I've done a little bit of this and that and still have so much more to do.  What about you?  Are you busy?  Are you crafting?  Are you gardening?  That's the next thing on our list.  Getting flowers for the outside pots and vegetables for the garden.
I'm sharing my bible journaling card I made for today's share.  Our bible study and Sunday school class has been centered on "faith" for the last two weeks along with putting the past behind and moving forward towards the future with God as the head of our lives.  So, I made this card to remind me of our lesson and study:

"My Last Mother's Day Card For 2018"

Hello to Everyone on this Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
Are you ready for Cinco De Mayo?  It's this Saturday.
Are you ready for Mother's Day?  It will be celebrated on May 13th.
Many are skipping towards the end of the month  for  Memorial Day.  Usually this is the beginning of summer, school closing and  beach time.  Most students have done as much as they expect to do for the school year.  It's time to take test initiated by the state.  I'm familiar with Virginia but not the other states.  Around in my part of the country, we hear "SOL's" during this time of the year.
But let's slow down for a bit.  We will give MOM her day of celebration before we closed those schools down for the summer.  Yes we can and yes we will.
I made my last Mother's Day card for this year.  Please read this correctly..."for this year, 2018".  Seven sisters and one daughter who are mothers, account for a lot of paper and die cutting as well as embellishments.   Some  have special boxes made so they can go through the mail without getting damaged.
Take a look:

cardstock: Neenah white; Bazzill periwinkle; Recollections green and Design Paper from my stash

Mother knows best and you better believe it.
Thanks for always supporting my work.  You are a blessing to me.  I enjoy seeing and reading your comments.  Thanks for leaving the love.

Sending you a hug and love,
Lois

"Revisiting A Punch and A Die"

Is it Wednesday?
Is it the middle of the week?
Well, hello once again friends, visitors, followers, and viewers.
How are you doing with the time change?  Have you been late for appointments?  Does it feel as if your body cannot catch up with your brain?
I've been sluggish for the last two days and I don't know why.  I'm going to say it is the time difference for the present moment.  Until something else happen, then I'll see someone about this condition.
My husband had surgery back in January and he has been having Physical Therapy sessions since February.  We thought he was going to be release on last Wednesday but was told he possibly had another week to go.  He is schedule for this Friday and I prepared this card for his therapist.  She has been so patient and kind with him that he actually requested her when they tried to give him someone else.

Very seldom will I pull out punches and dies that are not used often.  After looking through things that I have, I put aside numerous items that have been forgotten.  I wanted to revisit using them today.  Do you remember these...the punch and the die?

Thanks for taking a little time to view with me today.  It is always a pleasure to hear from you and to know you slipped through the door to this blog.
Come again!!!
