"LOVE IS IN THE AIR"

Hello everyone!
We, along with so many others in the USA are experiencing the cold, cold temps.
Waking up with temperatures in the single digit numbers does not make me a happy camper.  As a matter of fact, as cold as it is here, I wouldn't be camping outside not unless it was an extreme emergency and I mean an extreme emergency.
I'm thankful to have a warm cozy house to be out of the frigid weather but I'm also praying that all those individuals who live on the streets, in the park, under bridges and in their vehicles would accept a warm room in a shelter somewhere.
Many crafters are getting ready for "heart month".  We are getting those cards ready for Valentine's Day.  I'm making cards to send to the soldiers.  My contact person is eagerly waiting for my supply.  I'm not as ready as I thought I would be.
This card is not for my "cards for soldiers" box.  I've included jewelry pieces on the end of  the heart which makes it too bulky for an envelop.  It is one of those special cards that will go to someone to be hand delivered.  I will make a special box to put it in.

Enabler's List:
white cardstock for card base and top layer  is from PaperandMore; black cardstock is from Recollection; pattern paper between the card base and the black cardstock is from Graphic 45 Fairie Dust pad.  Small pieces from Recollections Mixed Media pad were used behind the circles. Cork cardstock
embossing folder used on top layer is from TODO called Damask Embossing Folder. A light dusting of Distress wilted violet Oxide was used on top of the raised embossed area.
dies used: Spellbinders standard circles , Spellbinders heart dies and Sizzix Mixed Media #3
embellishments: Prima and Recollections Flowers; butterfly from K& Company ephemera; heart cut from cork cardstock...black pitt pen to used to go around the edge and white chalk pen to write the word "LOVE". Three pieces of jewelry were twisted together and adhered behind the heart.

What about you?  Do you feel the "love" floating around you?  I hope you do.

Thanks for viewing and sharing your time with me today.  Come again  to see my creation.
Comments are welcomed here.

Sending you a hug and wishing you grace and mercy from above,
Lois

"Heartfelt Creation Winter's Eve Collection"

Hello Everyone on this Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
It is going to be a fun cold, cold day in my part of the world.  I'm keeping warm while crafting.
I have the desire to organize my craft room or I should say my crafting supplies so I can easily put my hands on what I need when I need it.  I really need to get this done before the end of the year.  My desire is to retire some items from my space and to make someone else happy.

Christmas day is not here yet and Christmas card making  is not over.
I wanted to get some cards made using Heartfelt Creation Winter's Eve Collection paper pad.  Here are the two cards I made using one of the sheets from the pad along with some other dies and embellishments.
I added two die cuts to this piece of paper.  One from Tattered Lace and the other from Spellbinders.
An embellishment from Jolee's Boutique was added to finish the card.
An entry of this card will be made at http://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com.
 I added two die cuts to this piece of paper also.  It was the extra piece from cutting off the piece used in the above card. The dies were from Spellbinders and Sizzix.
 Enabler's List:
cardstock: Neenah white; Recollections black and Recollections green;
DP: Heartfelt Creation Winter's Eve Collection
die: Tattered Lace "Opulent Over the Edge; Spellbinders standard circle
        Sizzix garden greens; Memory box "Little Candle Trio"
embellishment: Jolee's Boutique word "JOY"
                          Jolee's Boutique white poinsettias;
                          acetate sheet and  iridescent glitter
