Good Monday, July 29, 2019 to all the beautiful people.
Have you been encouraged today by something or someone? Most of time we get some type of encouragement by looking at something such as an advertisement on the TV, magazine or newspaper. I've been encouraged many times to change a product or an item in my home just from that type of encouragement. Many other times I'm encouraged by what people say and are doing pertaining to a certain thing or idea.
Well, I want this week to be about encouraging you in any way I can. I love to make cards so I'm looking to produce some with encouraging words or ideas that will spark a little jingle in your step or mind.
Kevin Ngo wrote this: Challenges and difficulties are a part of life and words of encouragement can often help you get out of your rut. It’s easy to tell someone to hang in there and to keep a positive outlook when they are going through tough times but when it happens to you, keeping your chin up isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Even so, it’s not impossible. There are a lot of things you can do to help you stand back up and move forward. Whether you’ve been dealt with a setback while working towards your goal, lost a loved one, or just feel down, inspirational words of encouragement can help.
Here is the encouragement card I made today:
In a few weeks, many will have children going off to college for the first time. Some have had children to leave home but are afraid of returning because they may think they have fail their parents in the decisions they've made.
This card was made on the premise that you have reared independent, happy children.
In order to raise happy children, offer them wings to fly, roots to come back to you and the security that they’ll always have you by their side every step of their way towards becoming responsible and independent people.
Enabler's List:
Cardstock: PaperandMore cream; Hunkydory pink and white polka dot; Recollections dark grey; DP from Prima Apricot Honey
embellishments: K & Company butterflies; Darice bling stickers; Heartfelt Creations doily; Martha Stewart white faux gems.
Wherever our child/children hearts and desires lead them, knowing always that they count on their roots, offers them an origin and an eternal shelter. There lies the magic of the balance, in offering a love that makes them fly while they also grow.
Thanks for being with me today. I hope something that I've shared will be passed on to others on facebook or instagram.
Sending you a hug and love,
Lois
