Good morning to all my crafty friends.
It is the last day of July 2019. Are you meeting your goals? Did you stop after the first month of the year? Are you pushing forward?
Have you encouraged someone this week? Did you go above and beyond the call of duty? Are or did you lift them up?
Have you been in a natural storm lately? What about life storms?
So many questions for you today.
Let's begin with life storms because I know we all have gone through a natural storm (wind, rain, tornado, hurricane, etc.) The truth of the matter is everybody gets into situations where they get
discouraged.
What do you do when the storm rages in your life? You are going along
in life, everything is fine, when all of a sudden a storm blows in and everything
as you know it gets turned upside down. You see, whether you know it or not there is a storm coming your way. What is your anchor in time of storm? What will you do when the storm hits? Some people run to the psychiatrist and some run to their bottle of pills. Some run to the local bar,
while others run to the crack house. Make no mistake, when the storm hits, you
will do something. If you are in a storm today, cry out to Him. If the waves are about to drown you, grab a hold of that Anchor. There is one thing that will keep your boat from floating downstream and it is Jesus!
How can we rise by lifting others?
When our day is being turned upside down, the trick is to turn someone else’s day around in return. Since fixing our own day can feel impossible, we should extend that energy into the outside world rather than inward.
For instance, if we spill coffee on our shirt or our heel breaks, we should try something as simple as complimenting someone else’s appearance. We take in the negativity we feel about our own look and send positive vibes towards someone else’s. Instead of harboring annoyance, we can make someone’s day through kindness. Doing good during tough times is an approach worth trying.

Wow you are really hitting the mark with your commentary, thank you! Two more noteworthy cards too, love the hot air balloons and a great sentiment.
Your blog post was such a blessing to me. I've been crying out to Him, and He always hears my cries. He is SO very good ALL the time. Thanks for the blessing and encouragement. I'm always SO very grateful to have you share your amazing art in our challenges. It means so much to me, you may never know. May God bless you for that. I have a give-away on the WAW Blog for leaving a comment about this week's scripture verse if you're interested. Hope you are having a wonderful week, my creative friend.
Blessings to you,
Karen
