"A Heart At Peace Gives Life To The Body"

Hello, hello to all my family, friends, followers and viewers.
It's Tuesday, January 8, 2020.  Don't you just love saying "2020".  I do.  It has a vibe to saying it.
"I'm Lois and this is 2020...just like Barbara Walters said when she introduced that show.
Will the US be in a war with Iran?  That is the talk going around especially after the missiles were fired at the US base in Iraq.  Pray for our military men and women and for our country.
Let's concentrate on my blog title...A heart at peace gives life to the body.  This comes from Proverbs 14:30 with the last part omitted (but envy rots the bones).
Would you say or think that "peace" is in  a short supply?  People are yearning for peace in all places...on the job, at home, in the neighborhood, around the world.
Even if our nations were at rest without war, some individuals would still be seeking for a heart at peace.  Stress takes a toll on many individuals.  There is no joy or inner tranquility.
Peace is not just getting a raise, finding a more attractive male/female friend, or going on vacation. It is that deep sense that God is in charge of my life, and He is working out the best for me, whether I understand it at the moment or not. He is saying, “I want to be with you at all times because I love you. No matter where you are and what is going wrong in your circumstances, I will lead you in the path of My peace.”  The trouble is, someone else is working 24/7 to cheat us out of this supernatural peace. That someone is Satan. Anything that God treasures for His people, the devil tries to rip off. He especially likes to rob our hearts of peace.

All kinds of studies keep coming out to document how the white blood cells and other physical components are at risk when we’re churned up in our spirit.  Our whole life can be thrown out of balance by the lack of “a heart at peace.”  But with God’s help, we can reclaim peace.

Thanking you in advance for your support in visiting and reading this post.  Continue to come back for more.

Sending you a hug and love,
Lois
