Hello family, friends, followers and viewers.
We are celebrating Memorial Day today...Monday, May 25, 2020. How many of you have love ones who served in the military and loss their lives while serving? Memorial Day, the last Monday in May honors and remembers all men and women who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Memorial Day is also a day to remember all loved ones who have passed away. Family cemeteries are visited and graves are cleaned and decorated with fresh wreaths. There are so many members who have lost their lives not while in the military but have gone from this world.
I had two brothers who served in the military but they succumbed to other medical maladies than losing their lives while serving. Other members of my family who are remembered today had long battles with cancer. Others, died of natural causes. So, we stand together on this day to remember the fallen military men and women as well as others who have died due to other reasons. We also are remembering those who recently loss their lives due to the virus that is sweeping this nation and world.
I'm posting pictures of cards I've made since my last posting as well as the one I put together this morning:
Thanks so much for viewing with me today. Have an enjoyable Memorial Day. It is the start of our summer. It is a little too early to attend the beaches and the cook-outs that we usually do on this day. The virus is still out there and I'm still staying at home. What about you?
Sending you a hug and love,
Lois
