Happy Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
Some of us have seen and are still experiencing snow, rain, sleet, humidity and any other weather condition that comes our way without us doing anything to bring it on or to send it back. What do you do when any type of weather is too extreme? An example would be a fierce thunderstorm with lightning and strong wind. Another example would be six feet of snow without electricity for days. One last example would be torrential rain that floods your surroundings. What do you do? Let's try another type of storm. What do you do when someone you know or someone in your family is going through a serious problem in life. It could be a health issue, a financial issue, or a loss issue.
Personally at this very date, I know of people (friends as well as family members) who are experiencing what we would call "storms of life" or problems with health, financial and loss of love ones. What am I doing? First, prayer. Things that I cannot handle are given over to the one who knows everything and can provide ways to solve them. Second, monetary donations. I'm not rich by no means, but if I can offer a meal, an amount to pay a small bill, or help with gas to get back and forth to work or to the doctor appointment, I've done it without a repayment. Third, offer comfort. Sometimes when a love one is loss, a person may just need a comforting word, card, hug or again, prayer to help them get through the most difficult time. Things do get better by and by. Storms of life are raging but we can weather this together.
Cards I've made either for a sketch challenge, for fun or for your enjoyment:
This card was made to show I welcomed the opportunity to wear red. You can't see me but I can represent my support.Speaking and writing about storms, this was for a certain to remain brave and courageous as you fight your "GIANT". It may look big but God has prepared you to fight this battle.
This card was also made for a certain person who is going through something. Your strength comes from the LORD. If you don't know him as your personal Saviour and is constantly relying on others outside the faith, then, you are headed in the wrong direction. Seek him and love others as he has taught us to love.
This card is for the sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers #SC840 or what is called a "flap card".
This card is for someone who is dealing with a "storm in their life". I don't want them to think they are in this along. A lot of people are with them either in prayer, in financial gifts and in love from afar. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I will add this card to https://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com.
