Hello to Everyone on this Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
We've had so much to happen since our last encounter. We've experienced freezing rain that kicked off our electricity and internet service. Not once but twice. I've had church friends who were diagnose with Covid. The husband ended up in the hospital for a week. We all are thankful that he was able to come back home and was not one of the five hundred thousand. This Covid, pandemic and people not following protocol is outrageous in my opinion. Why are there so many individuals who pretend it is not real, you don't need to wear mask, and you don't have to stand six feet apart. I get bothered by individuals who want to get in my space when I go to the grocery store. We will , by the grace of God, come through as pure gold. We just have to hold on and believe it will happen and do our part.
Here are projects I've worked on and hope you are inspired to make something similar:
This card was made for a person going through breast cancer. This card was made for a church member going through Covid.
A card made just for fun.
Someone in the neighborhood needed this after the death of a loved one.
Once again, when you're going through circumstances beyond your control, just be reminded that eventually it will be okay. "Trouble don't last always".
To be very clear and honest about this card...I was going through a bin and came across these. Instead of overlooking them, I made a slim line card using them. They all had to go together to spell out the word "DREAM".
I think my individuals will probably get tired of cards directed at their situations. Encouragement is always at the heart of my creative spirit. Giving, showing or making things to encourage someone is not only helpful for them but I get a blessing also.
Birthdays, birthdays, birthdays...it is beginning to get busy in this department. Love making and sharing this small gift.
Today this card was made. Due to the inability to travel and visit, I still want individuals to know they are on my mind. Phone calls are fine but in my opinion, card are even better. (Making cards help crafters to get rid of so many supplies...maybe one will be able to buy more...hahaha!) I am going to share this one over at https://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com.
Thanks so much for your visit, your time and your continued support.
Lois
