Happy Monday, April 19, 2021 everyone.
How was your lovely weekend? Did you get to enjoy the weather and fun activities? Yes, we had beautiful weather but still hesitant to go sit down in a restaurant with this pandemic going on. We've had both vaccine shots but we remain cautious about being around a lot of people especially when there are some who still don't wear mask and stay their distance. A birthday dinner was served to my husband from our home. No, I'm not a great cook but due to circumstances, it sufficed the occasion.
Are you ready to celebrate your MOM? Mother's Day is next month (May) in the USA. I believe the UK has already celebrated this occasion. I'm a mom and I enjoy having this title. My youngest daughter is a mom and her daughter grants me the title, Grandma. My mom is no longer here on Earth but is a constant on my mind and heart. When problems surface, I wish I could run some things by her to get an answer or to get an opinion. I wish I could just be near her when I need a motherly hug....I sure miss that woman. So if your mom is still living, prepare to celebrate her not only on Mother's Day but every day that you are still living.
Here are some cards you missed and the one I did today:
I used TH brushstroke dies to cut out the leaves from a piece of black cardstock. I then watercolored a piece of water colored cardstock to add to the back of the black cardstock. The wooden chain piece and the sentiment tag "sweet" were items on my desk. This is today's card. The first for a Mother's Day celebration. I will add this one to https://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com.
Friday's card that was posted on Instagram. Sometimes laughing at yourself is good medicine. Try it on yourself.
Thanks for your time viewing and reading today. Please come again. I love hearing from you.
Love,
Lois
