Father's Day Is On The Horizon

Happy Wednesday, June 16, 2021.  How are you and what are you doing exciting?

I've not had a vacation this year or last year.  The pandemic seems to be quieting down in many parts of the world.  Many other people are posting their get out of town photos and places they have or are going.  Before the summer is over, maybe this lady will venture to another state or another place for enjoyment.

Have you shopped for that special Father's Day card or gift?  My father transitioned when I was about six years of age.  So I haven't had the opportunity to give a card to him for this occasion.  My husband does not require a card or gift from me .  He only looks forward to something from his two daughters.  I simply tell him that I'm thankful he is the father of my children and the grandfather to our granddaughter.  We are at that stage where you've been living together and have bought things that we really want without waiting for gifts during special days.  We get and give all year long without a special need.  Your father, husband, son-in-law may be different and is looking forward to the unexpected on Sunday.  Also, on Sunday, it will be the first day of summer.  He just may need a new pair of shorts to wear for the heat that will be coming our way.  Just make his day very enjoyable.

Ten cards for your viewing and inspiration:

Dies, dies and more dies to complete this card.
A stencil, some distress inks and stamps were used to create this card.
Look at my homemade flowers.  I thought they came out spectacular.  What do you think?
Tattered Lace die cut.
Ladies and gentlemen, check out the craft department in your local Dollar Tree.  There are some very nice things to craft with.
This card's background was made with watercolor inks.

I am adding this one to https://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com
dies by Tim Holtz/Sizzix

Thanks to all the beautiful people who continue to view and support my projects.
Love,
Lois
