Hello, lovely people on this Friday, September 10, 2021.
Life goes on as we enter the anniversary of 9/11 on that dreadful day here in the USA. Do you remember? Where were you? I was in my classroom when the announcement came across on the intercom to turn our TVs on in our rooms and stop teaching but to watch what was happening in our world. The school was going to shut down in the next hour...the children, as well as staff, were going home for safety reasons. We couldn't even return the next day. I don't live that far from Washington DC or Norfolk where the Naval base is in operation. It was wonder if the naval and army bases were going to be hit with planes. It brings back all of those memories twenty years later and every year we remember 9/11.
