"Are Your Statues Coming Down?

Hello family, friends, followers and viewers.
I'm still here and came to ask you a question and to check in on you.
Are your statues coming down?  That's the question of the day.   I don't know where most of you live or how important you view statues, but are they being removed?
Statue ...a carved or cast figure of a person or animal, especially one that is life-size or larger.
Here in Virginia, statues are being removed.  Why? The removals have been driven by the concept that the monuments continue to glorify white supremacy, memorialize an unrecognized government whose founding principle was the perpetuation of slavery, and that the presence of these Confederate memorials over a hundred years after the subjugation of the Confederacy ...
Virginia has always been the state with the most Confederate statues, but in recent weeks, and especially in the city that was once the capital of the Confederacy, the statues have been coming down. Construction crews removed Stonewall Jackson and Matthew Fontaine Maury from Monument Avenue in Richmond last week, and more statues are expected to come down.
Should Confederate statues be removed?
That is why monuments glorifying them and their cause should be removed. Leave monuments marking their participation on the battlefields of the war, but tear down those that only commemorate the intolerance, violence, and hate that inspired their attempt to destroy the American nation."
What's your view?
Today, I'm sharing all the cards that have been posted on Instagram along with the one I made today:
"HOPE" using a Julie Nutting doll and TH die

"Collect Adventures Not Things"  a beach inspired card

"I am marvelous...I may be wrong, but I doubt it"
A card showing my quirky side but also using the beach scenery.

For You is a card to share with someone for no special occasion.

This was made on Monday, July 6, 2020.  I used Sizzix  and Spellbinders dies along with a Prima flower and the leftovers swirls from a TH die.  The typewriter is 3D sticker from Prima

"Believe In The Magic" is today's card
I'm posting my first Christmas In July card that does not go with the traditional Christmas atmosphere.
Sometimes you just don't want the jingle, the sleigh, the Santa and reindeer or the holly and elves.  You want to celebrate with something from your garden.

Thanks for your time and your view.  Wishing you a safe and enjoyable day.

Sending you a hug and love,

More beautiful cards and another great commentary/conversation starter. We are living in some troublesome times. On another note I finally set up an Instagram account waiting on my daughter to give me a tutorial! Take care and be safe.
